Our commitment to transparency on deposits, refunds, and the Founding 100 membership.

This Refund Policy applies specifically to the $1,000 USD deposit required to join the Roya Surf Founding 100 membership program. The deposit is processed securely through Stripe and is fully refundable under the conditions described below.
Before Membership Activation
If your application is under review or has been accepted but your membership has not yet been activated, you may request a full refund of your deposit at any time. No questions asked.
After Membership Activation
Once your Founding 100 membership has been activated, you have a 30-day window to request a full refund. If you decide within those 30 days that the program is not the right fit, we will return your deposit in full.
After the 30-day window, your deposit becomes non-refundable and will be applied as a credit toward your first Roya Surf experience booking.
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, send an email to:
Include your full name and the email address used during your application. No lengthy explanation is required.
Processing Timeline
- Refund requests are reviewed and approved within 2 business days.
- Once approved, the refund is processed through Stripe. Funds typically appear in your account within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
- You will receive an email confirmation when the refund has been initiated.
Currency and Fees
All deposits and refunds are denominated in USD. Your bank may apply its own currency conversion fees if your account is in a different currency. Roya Surf does not charge any fees on refunds.
Declined Applications
If your Founding 100 application is not accepted, your deposit will be refunded automatically within 5 to 10 business days of the decision. You do not need to take any action.
Experience Bookings
This policy covers only the Founding 100 membership deposit. Refund terms for individual experience bookings (surf trips, coaching sessions, transfers) will be detailed separately at the time of booking. Those terms may vary by experience, destination, and provider.
